DJ Cream’s Vinyl Alter Ego

House at its best! Couldn’t find a better way to describe Bologna’s DJ Cream‘s flamboyant groove that has fit perfectly on Smile & Stay High, his own imprint. Things are about to change this year as he makes his debut on the legendary Robsoul Recordings, run by the almighty Phil Weeks. You can check Face The Groove EP here.

Being aware of his love for vinyl, we profiled DJ Cream’s vinyl alter ego to discover among other amazing records some forgotten deep house gems from Gemini and Mood II Swing! Enjoy!

A second hand dig I’m most proud of

Best 1,50€ spent in my whole life!

The record I’d love to see it repressed

Hope that one day this masterpiece will be repressed!

The label I’d buy all their releases without even listening to them

Dungeon Meat… real dancefloor bangers! and always a sick artwork

The record artwork that blows my mind every time I look at it

Gemini ‎– Swimmin’ Wit’ Sharks EP

The record that triggers childhood memories

I’m a really huge fan of Prince and… Batman!

The record shop I would spend my whole savings in

I didn’t had the chance to travel a lot but Discos Paradiso is an amazing place, you can’t go out without buying!

The record that never leaves my DJ bag

Chris Simmonds – Still Working Hard

Last record I checked its price on discogs

Gemini ‎– The Beginning

Last record I bought for my home listening pleasure

Ivan Ave – Every Eye

The record closest to my heart from my entire collection
